From your conforms, friends, families and religion
peers, teachers, students, husbands and wives,
parents, children, expectations and limitations,
responsibilities, careers, spelling, fitting in, not fitting in,
wonderful original individual you ARE
Get up on a pedestal and DANCE
in front of everyone to a rhythm of your own
take a deep breath, fill your lungs and SING
off key for everyone to hear
bear all, naked, exposed,
raw to the bone
with only the flame of your soul aglow
Run, feel the wind as it dances
through the tresses of your hair
sit in the cool shade of a wonderfully green tree
Walk, pick up the earth
scattering handfuls around you
Drink, be quenched from a cool clear stream
cleanse your soul
