A Window To Look Through...

She watches through her window, her little girl at play.
Memories flood back to her childhood, of her yesterdays

As she tucks her gift into bed, and kisses her precious face
She says a prayer of protection, "Lord keep my child safe."

And as days turn months into years, she sees her little girl grow
She begins to realize that a time will come, the time when she must let go

Suddenly she hears a gentle voice-- saying, "No greater love is this,
Than what you've done for your little girl, go seal it with a kiss."  
"Honey I want to kiss your face, but I know I can't by phone
While looking through your bedroom window, I began to feel alone."

"So many days through this very window, I'd watch you laugh and play
And I can almost see you tucked in bed, on those nights we'd talk and pray."

"Mom," her daughter uttered, "There's something I want to say...
You may not know how many times, I saw you watch me play."

"That window that you're looking through, is the same one God looked in
He saw you by my bed each night, when you'd tenderly tuck me in."

"So mom please don't feel all alone, you know I'll always be there...
Just like God is with you now, no matter the time, or place or where."

Her mother paused and then replied, "Sweetheart I know you're right...
You're grown, married and have a child, that you now tuck in at night."

"Mom, I better go now, I have some things I better do."
Her mom replied, "I know it dear, you've got a window to look through."

A Mother's Love

 

A mother loves her child
more than the world
she laughs with her
and cries with her

She keeps her warm if its cold
she keeps the baby,
close to herself
she never leaves the child alone
she doesn't care much even for herself

She feeds the baby
and bathes her too
she cleans up after her
and never complains

She feels proud of her baby
and claps at her antics
she feels delighted
as the baby grows up

And then........ ..... something changes
as the baby grows up

The mother treats her like the same baby
and the baby wants to be an adult
And one day......... .. the adult leaves home
never to return to her mother

Never to eat food from her mother's hands
never to sleep with her mother all snuggled up
never to laugh with her or cry with her
never to see her wrinkling face or greying hair

The mother lives on
crying and praying for her baby
just wanting to see her once before she dies....

In the meanwhile,
the adult has her own family
and her own "baby"
she cries with her......

Who is Faithful ???

There is a legend of a woman who had a faithful dog.
This dog was so faithful that the woman could leave her baby with it and go out to attend other matters.
She always returned to find the child soundly asleep with the dog faithfully watching over him.

One day, something tragic happened.

The woman as usual, left the baby in the "hands" of this faithful dog and went out shopping.
When she returned, she discovered a rather nasty scene.
There was a total mess.

The baby's cot was dismantled.
His nappies and clothes torn to shreds, with bloodstains all over the bedroom where she had left the child and the dog.
Shocked, the woman wailed as she began looking for the baby.

Presently, she saw the faithful dog emerging from the under the bed.
It was covered with blood and licking its mouth as if it had just finished a delicious meal.
The woman went berserk and assumed that the dog had devoured her baby.
Without much thought, she clubbed the dog to death.

But as she continued searching for the "remains" of her child, she beheld another scene.

Close to the bed was her baby who, although lying on the bare floor, was safe.
And under the bed, the carcass of a jackal torn to pieces in what must have been a fierce battle between it and the dog which was now dead.

Then reality hit the woman, who now began to understand what took place in her absence.
The dog fought to protect the baby from the ravenous jackal. 
It was too late for her now to make amends because in her impatience and anger, she had killed the faithful dog.


Question Is:-
How often have we misjudged people and torn them to shreds with harsh words and even with physical assault before we have had time to evaluate the situation?
A little patience can drastically reduce major life long errors.

Think about it!

 it means keeping a relation with someone even though you have lots of options.

Standing up for yourself, standing by your choices,
And sticking to your dreams when others jeered.

 

Courage could be the will to live in spite of the struggles,
In spite of your fears and phobias, in spite of what others said,

In spite of criticism and disapproval's, in spite of mistakes and failures,

In spite of everything that stand between you and your dreams.

 

 

Courage could mean trying over and over again when you
failed, Admitting that you are sorry when you are in the wrong,

Saying "I Love You" when your love is angry,
Having a baby when the idea of being a parent scared you,

Listening to your heart when others called you a fool,

 Following your dreams even when others discourage you,

And staying true to yourself when others want you in another way.

 

Hold steadfast to your dreams, your heart and yourself,
And Courage will not abandon you,

But follow you whenever you choose to go.
